Mosy on down the Boardwalk!

Join us for our first ever Mosy Photo Walk along Venice Beach!
We plan to start at Windward Ave. just before the boardwalk.
You're almost guaranteed to get some great shots!

We plan to do a 3 mile loop from the boardwalk up to Main St. then back to
Abbot Kinney Blvd. where we started. At the end of the walk we will stop at
Larry's, right off Windward Ave. We will eat, drink, be merry, and capture it
all on our camera phones! (*Notice that I didn't say iPhone– all camera phones
are welcome!) If we're still fired up after Larry's we can trek over to the
Venice Canals for some sunset shots, that are sure to be impressive.

We've had some exceptional weather lately so be sure to bring:

• Sun Screen
• A Hat
• Sunglasses
• Water to stay hydrated
• $1 bills for the side shows!

There will be plenty of public restrooms and places to stop for water and snacks along the way.

MacWorld and the MosyPOV

On Friday I breezed through the Macworld 2012 | iWorld conference, with time to spare. I admit I had mapped out the show to see exactly who would be there, which would have been a substantial task in it's heyday. I was mostly looking for new cases to include with the Mosy Mount and I found 2 that I'm really excited about, but they wont be available for another month or so.

The first one is from eSTYL, and it has the perfect color combination and modern detailing, that actually serves a purpose. Inside the case has a honeycomb pattern that disperses the shock from impact to the case, while the side of the outside features grip and corner impact enhancements. If I had designed a case for the Mosy Mount, it would look like this.

The second one is from Nite-Ize and it's a case that is a nice matte black, hard rubber (not silicone), oh, and it's bio-degradable! I love this case, and everything else about it. I will will have on one my phone as soon as they are available!

I also confirmed a solution for iPhone users who want to put a Mosy Mount directly onto their iPhone, for the functionality of the Mosy, without having to use a case. (all 3 of you!) If you first apply Crimson's protective film to the back of your phone, the Mosy will stick to that film fast and firmly. then when (or if) you want to remove the Mosy, just remove the skin.

There were a few cool innovations; j5create's Worm Hole and the Whale Tail (if you're into that sort of thing) but my personal favorite of the show was Adva-Soft's AntiCrop (itunes link). Instagramers are sure to love this one! I will be using this on my phone's smaller screen (vs the iPad) when I need to add more image to an edge or corner of an image. More about this from techcrunch.com: >>>

I did manage to take a few (dozen) pics of the event without even holding my camera, I mean, iPhone. Using the MosyPOV worked out pretty good in combination with a time lapse app (TimeLapse). I set the app to take a photo every 7 seconds and I simply had to stand still for a few seconds  to get a decent shot. A great way to review the event and put faces to the business cards a week later. Still in early developement stage, we hope to have the Mosy POV ready for christmas.

Here's a few of the pix taken while wearing the MosyPOV: flickr set

CES Success!

What a week we had at CES!

Thanks to CEA, "Eureka Park", and all of you that stopped by our booth at the Venetian Hotel. We had a great time and it was great to get all that feedback about the Mosy Mount, live & in person! Many distributors showed an interest in carrying the Mosy Mount in their stores, and an even stronger interest in the new accessories we demo'd at our booth. (Way to go Eric!)

Another new twist to this year's CES was the addition of the PMA (Photo Marketing Association) convention, which brought a lot of pro photographers to the show. Quite a few big names, including Gary Fong himself stopped by our booth and confirmed the Mosy Mount's potential in the ever-changing photography market.

There's so many people I'd like to thank for making it possible and other people I need to contact about new possibilities, so I'm gonna keep this short & get back to work. 2012 has already started off with a big success- I'm looking forward to the rest of the year!

Here's a few of our booth in action.
